About Us

Hello! Those who know me well will tell you that I LOVE Chicago, entertaining, and meeting new people. I took these passions and created Wedding Day Chicago. What started as a pandemic hobby, to help couples navigate the shift in wedding plans, has really turned into something! Wedding Day Chicago has grown exponentially since it's conception in August of 2020. Not a day goes by that I feel like this is "work." I enjoy this process so much and my WDC couples are a joy in my life.

Wedding Day Chicago has led me to experience things I never imagined, such as officiating a ceremony on the glass ledge on the 103rd floor of the Sears (aka Willis) Tower at midnight, sailing down the Chicago river for a gorgeous sunset elopement, planning a wedding ceremony in Chicago's oldest skyscraper (complete with a bouquet toss in the middle of La Salle Street), ringing in the new year with a series of weddings lined up and down Michigan Avenue, witnessing both beachfront and snow filled vows, helping couples elope in Chicago; complete with a city landmark photo shoot, hiking through the forest preserve to find a secluded spot for a minimony, assisting couples experience the magic of a Chicago park wedding, coordinating weddings in some of the best event venues this city has to offer, and so much more! I am one lucky lady!!!

When I am not planning weddings, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. Traveling, running, pilates, and trying new restaurants are also passions of mine. I have traveled all over the world, but my very favorite place (where I keep returning to) is Hawaii. I have explored all of the major islands, The Big Island, Maui, Kauai, and Oahu. Don't ask which is my favorite, because that is a long conversation...so if you ask, make sure you have plenty of time to spare! I love giving honeymoon advice too! This service is free of charge, haha! My favorite Chicago restaurants are QXY (in Chinatown) for dumplings, Juice RX (in Bucktown) for the best acai bowls outside of Hawaii, Chief O'Neills (in Avondale) for family Sunday brunch, bubble tea at Tsaocca, Spinning J (in Humboldt Park) for the best quiche and pastries in the world (I know that is a big claim, but it is true), Carmine's (in the Gold Coast) for an all around fab menu, and Gibson's Italia for a nice night out with excellent food and service and an oh-so stunning view.

Anyhow, enough about me. I can't wait to learn more about you and help you have the wedding day of your dreams.
